Overview
The pre-production phase has begun with in-depth interviews and collaborative sessions with medical teams, predominantly from private clinics in the UK. These meetings aimed to obtain a deep understanding of the daily life of a doctor who still relies on manual methods for writing medical prescriptions.
UX/UI Process
In Phlo Connect, I followed a structured UX/UI design process in 5 phases to ensure the development of user-centric and highly effective digital solutions.
1. Research and Discovery: Immersion in needs
The initial phase was dedicated to thorough research, delving into the needs, behaviors, and pain points of healthcare professionals and patients. This allowed for the definition of user personas and the target audience, identifying opportunities and challenges in the healthcare landscape.
2. Design and Ideation: Ideation of innovative solutions
Armed with the gathered information, I developed and sketched out various design concepts, wireframes, and prototypes. The objective was to visualize layouts and innovative solutions to address the identified problems and enhance the user experience of physicians and prescription management professionals.
3. Prototyping and Testing: Validation with users
In this critical phase, I developed an interactive prototype based on the design concepts. The prototype underwent rigorous testing with a large number of users, including doctors, pharmacists, and administrators. The feedback received facilitated refinements and improvements to the design prior to actual development.
4. Development and Implementation: Transformation into reality
With validated designs, I handed over the project to the development team for implementation. The development teams worked closely with the design team to bring the concepts to life, focusing on functionality, security, and scalability.
5. Launch and Optimization: An evolving process
The launch of the digital product did not mark the end of the process. By monitoring the usage and performance of the product post-launch, we gathered continuous feedback from users. Through post-launch analysis and testing, we identified areas for improvement and further optimized the user experience.

By following this 5-step UX process at Phlo Connect, I have been able to ensure that my digital solutions were not only technically sound, but also resonated with the intended users, ultimately leading to positive outcomes and progress in healthcare technology.
